Blood Eater

Bengal, 1877. To prevent another rebellion in their Indian territories, the British Crown resurrects a vampiric Vlad the Impaler, revering him for his war against the Ottomans centuries earlier.

On her way home, Zakya, the daughter of a brick worker, escapes one of Vlad's vampires only for her neighbor to be taken away by British officers. Zakya's thirst for revenge leads her to the Ottoman soldier Ahmet and his team, who speak of a revolution.

Zakya quickly falls for the courageous man and his promise of freedom. To oust Vlad and end his vicious reign, she becomes a vampire slayer. But as Vlad's vampires become more powerful, Zakya must navigate her growing rage and the internal dissent against the revolution before she loses her love, people, and humanity.
