At the Same Time is the second English-language selection of poems by renowned Chinese poet Wang Jiaxin, translated by John Balcom and published by Arrowsmith Press (Boston). Centered on Wang’s recent work, the collection explores themes of memory, exile, and existence with both a wide international perspective and profound artistic reflection. American poet Jane Hirshfield has praised the book for “bringing true light through the mists of language,” revealing the distinctive voice and spiritual depth of a world poet.
