This book focuses on the "theory of data justice". "Datafication" is not merely a technology but a "political-economic system", and the social justice issues arising from datafication should be prioritized. First, data justice requires finding ways to address the harms of capitalism; second, datafication embedded in government governance weakens the power of social members, and data justice requires government agencies to prioritize human-centeredness and solidarity building; third, the concept of data justice must be linked to global sociology, and by no means limited to the "Western" context; fourth, data justice aims to address harms such as exploitation, discrimination, privacy infringement, surveillance, manipulation, and injustice brought about by datafication; fifth, datafication restricts citizens' subjectivity, and data justice requires ensuring citizens' active and autonomous participation in politics; sixth, given the serious flaws of the regulatory framework centered on informed consent, there should be a shift from safeguarding individual rights to recognizing collective order, moving towards data justice policies.
