The history of this volume (/series) is meticulously documented: it was acquired by Dr. Keidel in 1985 (Showa 60) during a personal visit to Isseido Booksellers (一誠堂書店), the historic and venerable authority on Sinology and rare antiquarian books located in Kanda Jinbocho, Tokyo. At the time of purchase, Dr. Keidel—having earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University—was conducting post-doctoral research at the Faculty of Economics, the University of Tokyo. Crucially, the front pastedown bears an "Isseido" dealer ticket and an original handwritten purchase receipt from the legendary Isseido Bookstore in Jimbocho, Tokyo, dated Showa 60 (1985), showing a purchase price of 20,000 Yen.

Dieses Exemplar befindet sich in einem gut erhaltenen Halbleineneinband mit einer eleganten Goldprägung (geometrisches Muster) auf dem Buchrücken (wie in ⁠image_82.png⁠ zu sehen). Die Textseiten und Tafeln im Inneren sind sauber und frisch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass der vordere Spiegel ein Händleretikett der legendären Buchhandlung „Isseido“ aus Jimbocho (Tokio) trägt. Zudem liegt die originale, handschriftliche Quittung der Buchhandlung Isseido vom 28.
