定见之外：生活日常哲学的短篇

Dr. Kwok Pak-nin graduated with a PhD in Philosophy from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at CUHK. His research interests include ethics, critical thinking, and social and political philosophy. He was a host for RTHK TV programme "Philosophy for All Seasons" and has written a column in Ming Pao's "Sunday Life" since January 2018. He also publishes articles in the philosophy section of Stand News. The ancient philosophical dictum is "know thyself," but there are myriad ways to achieve self-knowledge. This book discusses "fixed ideas"—various judgments in life that we have long taken for granted and consider self-evident. By reflecting on these everyday fixed ideas, we hope to deepen our understanding of ourselves and humanity. All articles in this book are titled as questions, aiming to challenge rather than provide definitive answers. We merely hope to deconstruct the various possibilities of problems through philosophy, offering readers more directions for thought.
