After the birth of her first child, Anna and her family moved to Stockholm, a city blanketed in snow. Although the warm moments alone with her child brought Anna fleeting comfort, anxiety was a constant companion for the new mother. The physical and mental pain, her husband's absence, fear of the future, and uncertainty about motherhood led her to compulsively browse news and buy expensive clothes… To avoid falling into deeper depression, she picked up a pen.
