"The End of the Land, The Beginning of the Sea" is a feature-length documentary comic that records the author's hiking experience which helped her resolve life's confusions. It was a hiking trail starting from France and crossing Spain, where people from all over the world embarked with questions in their lives, and it is said that they would find their answers on the way or at the end. To go home or to stay, which is the better choice? A young woman, with the courage to "invite hardship," embarked on this path. During the arduous hike, she met all sorts of people and events: a Belgian pastry chef who begged along the way, a resigned French civil servant, an American boy on academic leave, a girl crying in the backyard of a hostel; the few Asian faces, memories of competition, and insights into "walking meditation"... Along the way, she pondered her inner questions, learning to meet, to say goodbye, and to embrace well. Finally, at the junction of land and sea, she slowly made that decision. "Perhaps the answers I found in it can also illuminate others."
